B&B Hotel Christoph is committed to making its website as accessible as possible and compliant with applicable legal requirements. This statement refers to the website www.hotel-christoph.at, operated by Jenny & Christoph Güttersberger.

The implementation of accessibility is based on the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG, published in the Federal Law Gazette BGBl. I No. 76/2023 of July 19, 2023) and the EU Directive “RL (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services”, which has been binding since June 28, 2025.

The current requirements arise from the BaFG and the associated EU Directive. As part of an internal audit on 2025-07-10, the website was analyzed with regard to these criteria. It was found that the website largely complies with the defined standards.

Despite extensive efforts, complete accessibility could not be achieved in certain areas – for example, with color contrasts in the photos. In order to enable the most accessible use possible, alternative functions such as a contrast switch have been introduced.

The following measures have been implemented to improve accessibility:

• Color contrasts
  Not all colors on the website meet the contrast requirements of accessibility. However, you can use the symbol with the two semicircles on the right side to switch to a higher-contrast display.
• Font size
  If the font appears too small, you can easily enlarge it using the “TT” symbol on the right side of the screen.
• Structure of the headings
  Individual accessibility tests do not correctly recognize some headings. The reason for this is the technical structure. However, the Hx structure itself has been implemented correctly, so that screen readers can capture all content.
• Controls, buttons and links
  Buttons have been designed so that they can be captured with screen readers and meet the legal minimum sizes. They can also be operated via the keyboard (using the tab key). For technical reasons, no separate link titles are available for text links.

On our website you will also find embedded content from external providers. We cannot make any accessibility statements in the sense of the BaFG and the EU Directive for this third-party content. Therefore, the content of third parties is excluded from the legal requirements of the Accessibility Act.In addition, there are some older posts or documents on the website (e.g. map material of the ski areas) that were published before 2025-06-28. This content is not affected by the Accessibility Act and is currently not planned for revision.
